EMDR CIT Consultation

Our approach to the consultation for EMDR CIT Consultation-of-Consultation is to focus on building your educator voice and brain! We want to enhance your abilities to become an EMDR educator for your consultees!

EMDR CIT Requirements:
(Set by EMDRIA)

  • Currently an approved EMDR Certified Therapist

  • Completed & submitted the Consultant in Training Declaration form identifying your EMDR consultant

  • Must work with a full consultant. Cannot work with a CIT at this level.

  • Complete 20-hours of consultation-of-consultation

    • Hours can be completely FULLY in a group setting

    • You have the option to do individual, group, or both forms of consultation

  • During consultation-of-consultation, required to work with at least 5 CITs in consultation setting

    • Three of the five consultees must be EMDR basic trained. The other two can be those consulting with you to learn about EMDR

    • CITs can create a group consultation for certification

    • CITs can provide up to 15-hours of consultation for certification

  • CITs must have at least 300 EMDR sessions with at least 75 clients

  • Must be 3-years from your basic training completion date to submit application

    • You can complete all CIT requirements and await your 3-year mark

  • 5-year maximum to complete this process from date on declaration form

CIT Consultation Investments:

CIT Group Pathway:

  • Investment: $1,000.00

This service includes all 20-hours of consultation-of-consultation in a group setting.

CIT Individual Pathway:

  • Investment: $1,800.00

This service includes all 20-hours of consultation-of-consultation through individual consultation only.

CIT Group Supplemental Pathway:

  • Investment: $550.00

This service is for CITs who have completed 10-hours of consultation-of-consultation elsewhere. This will provide 10-hours of group consultation-of-consultation.
