EMDR Clinician Collective

The EMDR Clinician Collective is a monthly consultation group for EMDR therapists who are looking for more than case consultation. This is a consistent, relationship-centered space grounded in community - not a drop in model. Participant is based on ongoing commitment in a way that feels sustainable for you.

This group is intentionally designed to center clinicians with lived experience in one or more of the following commuinties:

  • LGBTQIA+

  • Neurodivergent

  • People of the global majority (BIPOC/Persons of color)

  • Chronically ill

  • Pyhsicall disabled

  • Intellectually disabled

This is not about gatekeeping or requiring disclosure. You will never be asked to share or explain your identities. Instead, we trust clinicians to self-determine whether this space aligns with their lived experience and what they’re seeking in community and consultation.

If you hold lived experience in one or more of these communities and are looking for a consistent, affirming consultation space, you are enthusiastically welcomed!

F.A.Q

Is this group only for certain levels of EMDR therapists?

Nope! This group is open to all levels of EMDR clinicians; from basic trained EMDR therapists through EMDR trainers.

Is this a drop-in group?

Nope. The EMDR Clinician Collective is designed as an ongoing community support. Consistent attendance supports stronger clinical discussions, relationship-building, and a more meaningful experience for everyone involved.

What happens if I miss a session?

Life happens! Occasional absences are expected. Members are asked to attend as regularly as possible and view this as a long-term professional committment, not an occasional or one-time consultation. We just ask that you proactively communicate with the group facilitator when you can’t attend a group.

What is the focus of the group?

The group centers on EMDR; case consultation, clinicial techniques, unlearning harmful and oppressive practices, reviewing scripts and protocols, and building supportive peer relationships for consultation, collaboration, and referrals.

Fit Check!

This collective is build with specific intention. It’s not for everyone and that’s by design. We want you to have enough clarity to decide if this space actually meets your needs.

This group is likely a good fit if you:

  • Are an EMDR clinician looking for ongoing consultation, not a one-time or drop in space

  • Use EMDR as your foundational framework but are craving expansion beyond rigid protocols; bringing creativity, flexibility, and integration into your practice

  • Value consistency, relationship-building, and community over transactional consultation

  • Are open to engaging, contributing, and being part of a shared space (not just observing)

  • Hold lived experience as LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, chornically ill, physically disabled, and/or intellectually disabled and want a space where that is centered, not sidelined

  • Are looking for consultation that makes room for both clinical skill-building and the impact of identity, systems, and lived experience

This group may not be the right fit if you:

  • Are looking for occasional or drop-in consultation only

  • Prefer a more traditional, hierarchical, or purely case-focused consultation model

  • Are not seeking a space that explicitly centers marginalized clinician experiences

  • Are unable to commit to consistent participation in some form

If it’s not the right fit, that’s not a problem! There are so many consultation group options and we are happy to point you in the direction of another consultation group that better match what you need!
